Bags of style
IA London is a fast-emerging fashion brand with a bold aesthetic. The brainchild of Ira Iceland, the designer’s avant-garde creativity caught the eye of Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, who decided to be part of an exciting collaboration with label.m
The project centres on four designer prints, which will adorn cans commemorating 15 years of partnership between Toni&Guy and London Fashion Week. The cans will launch in July. However, Sacha loved the IA London’s aesthetic so much that she decided to debut a special edition tote bag with the brand’s print this spring. Fashion mavens will love the brand’s eye-catching motif and the product’s impressive sustainable credentials.
The digitally printed, reusable cotton bag was produced by Bags of Ethics and is made in Pondicherry, south India, where 90 per cent of the workforce are women and the cotton is grown on rain-irrigated farms. Plus, the print inks and dyes have been tested to degrade in a non-toxic way to support cleaner waterways, while also being vegan. The bag is available free in-salon with the purchase of any Fashion Edition product and one other label.m product
