New Wave Hair

New Wave Hair

We went behind the scenes on our womenswear shoot with Toni&Guy Artistic Director Sophie Springett to find out how to create this season’s perfect waves

Begin by creating a clean, centre parting with a comb.

Divide hair into nine sections, or fewer if you have fine hair.

Dampen the sections of hair with a light mist of water.

Spritz label.m Blow Out Spray from the roots to the tips.

Divide each hair section into three and create a three strand braid down each of them, leaving a few inches free at the ends.

Push the front two sections forward, this will frame the face and create a more balanced wave.

Dry the braids using the label.m Tourmaline Dryer with a diffuser attachment.

Once dry, run the label.m Titanium Pro-50 Styling Iron down each braid for a stronger hold.

Leave the braids to cool. This will help the waves to set.

Unravel the braids before brushing the hair through with the label.m Grooming Brush using tension. Lightly spritz label.m Dry Shampoo through the mid-lengths to the ends.
