Hair how to: Brushed out waves

Hair how to: Brushed out waves

Get the look with step-by-step tips from Toni&Guy’s International Artistic Directors Sophie Springett and Efi Davies

To prep, separate hair into three even sections. Apply label.m Volume Mousse, £14.50, from root to tip and blowdry thoroughly before using the label.m Metal End Tail Comb, £6, to create an off-centre, side-curved parting.

Work the label.m Advanced Pro Triple Barrel Waver, £64.95, at a slight angle through front sections of hair, starting just below the hairline, making sure to evenly space each wave.

Sophie and Efi recommend separating each individual wave with label.m Metal Sectioning Clips, £2.25, to define and hold the style in place. Continue using the label.m Advanced Pro Triple Barrel Waver, £64.95, through the back section.

Once the wave shape has been created, liberally spritz ends with label.m Hairspray, £12.95, ‘This will preserve the shape and give a glossy sheen,’ says Efi. Next, tong ends with the label.m Advanced Pro Curling Tong, £49.95, for a softer finish.

Finish the look by brushing waves through with the label.m Grooming Brush, £13.75. ‘These feminine face-framing waves give a youthful, yet glamorous feel,’ says Sophie.
