Chanel is opening its first
ever spa at the Ritz in Paris

If you fancy getting your nails buffed and your back massaged among the world’s swankiest people, we have some good news for you. Chanel has just announced the opening of its first ever spa, to be housed in the newly renovated Ritz Paris.

The spa, known as ‘Chanel au Ritz Paris’, will open at the end of the year in the Ritz Club, and will be dedicated to the brand’s skincare range. The location makes sense, because not only is the Ritz fabulously fancy and quintessentially Parisian – it was also once home to Coco Chanel herself. The designer arrived in the early 1930s, bringing with her a suede settee and a beautiful folding screen, and stayed for 34 years.

To celebrate the launch, the hotel is also opening a Coco Chanel suite inspired by her original room and its décor, so anyone looking for a designer mini-break can spend their days at the spa, and evenings at the hotel. The likes of Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner will probably be regulars, but until it’s our turn, at least there’s Instagram.
