Explore over 100 years of work from some of the most famous snappers
Beetles + Huxley has teamed up with the Osborne Samuel Gallery to present The Photographers 2015, showcasing a vast collection of stunning works from some of the pioneering international photographers.
Spanning from 1910 to the present day, the exhibition will contain over 150 rare prints following the early developments and subsequent rise of photography and how it has become embedded in today’s culture as a form of expression. It covers a whole host of themes, from the photojournalism style documentation of war, to vintage and modern day fashion portraiture, highlighting the constantly evolving nature of this creative medium.
Visitors can survey collections from critically acclaimed photographers including David Bailey, Bill Brandt and Annie Leibovitz. Spread over the two Mayfair galleries, Osborne Samuel will host seminal works by the masters of early black and white photography, while Beetles + Huxley will play host to more contemporary creations, including new talent from Chinese artists Ren Hang and Zhang Kechun.
The Photographers 2015 is open now until December 23.
