CELEBRATING 50 YEARS IN STYLE – CHECK OUT ALL THE ACTION FROM OUR BLOW OUT ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL AT KNEBWORTH'S HALLOWED GROUNDS

No stranger to festivals, Knebworth’s world famous grounds have seen the likes of Led Zeplin, Queen and Oasis tear up their hardy Hertfordshire grass, so when Toni&Guy’s 50th Anniversary Festival arrived, along with 4,000 party people, it felt right at home.

In a first for any hairdressing brand, staff, friends and family were treated to a fun-filled day and night of entertainment, tasty street food and beauty hangouts. And like all good festivals, an impressive musical line-up got the party fired up with live sets from Iggy Azalea, Labrinth, Tinchy Stryder and T&G Darlington’s very own Vito, to name a few. Adrenaline junkies headed to the rides at the fully decked-out fun fair while those after a spot of pampering checked out the free manicures and makeovers at the Essie and GHD salons.

For a touch of tongue-in-cheek pomp and ceremony, The Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band marched out in bright red military garb to lead the revellers to the mainstage for the grand finale.

‘I absolutely loved the festival,’ says Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck. ‘It was wonderful to see everything come together, from the glamping and music to the spectacular catwalk show. But the highlight for me was the moment my Dad, Toni, walked on stage to a massive cheer. We all felt such a massive sense of achievement for him.’

Following the celebration and with spirits at an all time high, dancing into the night kicked-off with gusto until campers and glampers headed off to their respective sleeping bags and egyptian cotton sheets. One thing’s for sure, there were a few sore heads in the morning but that’s nothing a good bacon sandwich couldn’t cure. What an event!
