Christian Louboutin expands its nude collection to suit all skin tones
The term ‘nude' has long stirred up controversy within the fashion and beauty industries. The limited range of peachy-pink tones haven't catered for a vast portion of the population. But thankfully that's changing, and Christian Louboutin - shoemaker to the stars - is at last expanding his nude colour palette for shoes.
Armed with the wisdom that all women want longer legs, Louboutin modelled the expanded colour palette on his studio team, so the collection will have a spectrum ranging from fair to chestnut.
He said of the range, ‘nude is not a colour, it’s a concept’.
The luxury brand will also see two new styles named Deepik and Dorissima added to the line up, alongside the already established Pigalle and the Simple Pump.
The new nudes will be available from August, directly from Louboutin’s website.
