Alexander the Great
It’s been a while since a high street collaboration sent the fashion world into meltdown, but there’s been a major reprieve with Alexander Wang’s new collection for H&M
Owning pre-season inspired designer clothing before it even graces the Fashion Week runways used to be the preserve of the mega-wealthy – until now. Alexander Wang’s new collection for H&M features sports-luxe pieces inspired by his Spring/Summer 2015 collection, guaranteed to give you that next-season look now, elevating style credentials in a flash.
From covetable leather sweatpants to mesh tops, the New York-based designer’s collection features both men and womens apparel, plus a line of functional sports accessories – think branded flip flops and boxing gloves. We predict yoga bunnies across the country queuing round the block to nab the logo-ed yoga mats. Celebrity fans are already in on the action, Rhianna’s recently been papped sporting a matching crop-top and leggings combo from the range.
Ever since the designer let slip about the collaboration earlier this year at Coachella, Wang fans have been on tenterhooks waiting for the official launch date. Thankfully, since stock will be dropping at a high street near everyone in November, the world won’t have to wait much longer.
