Introducing Mr Smith
Next week marks the last chance to catch Paul Smith’s much-heralded exhibition, Hello, My Name is Mr Smith at the Design Museum in London.
Ever since the eclectic British designer set up shop in 1970, Smith has been synonymous with British style – from his iconic stripe-print ties, intricate tailoring and unique concept stores.
Now the exhibition, curated by Smith himself, showcases his most eccentric designs, features a mock-up of his actual office and gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his creative process. "The whole point is anyone can come and get goose bumps and be inspired,” says Smith.
Hello, My Name is Paul Smith runs until 22 June, designmuseum.org
