Ham It Up
There’s a new haven in the vibrant midst of London’s Soho
Ham Yard Hotel opens its uber-cool doors this week. Designed with an urban-village theme in mind, this concept hotel centres around a tranquil, tree-filled garden.
The interior is a glorious combination of relaxing, muted tones with a side order of kitsch – there’s a 1950’s style bowling alley, citrus-orange in-house movie theatre, Soholistic spa and library.
The vibe, however, is quintessentially British, thanks to a chic print and neutral design by interiors guru Kit Kemp. The gorgeous roof-top garden is the only place to while away a hot summer’s afternoon admiring the sweeping views over Soho’s bustling streets, gin and tonic in hand.
